ORV area and trail closures are a common concern among those who enjoy four wheel drive vehicles. As much as we don't want to admit it, no trail is safe from closure. They are closed for many reasons including misuse, overuse, lack of funding or environmental concerns.

What can you do?
You can do more than you think!

• You can send your comments to a state organization to offer support for a new trail system.
• You can send letters to your congressman letting them know you want access to trails.
• You can support organizations that fight for our use of trails.
• You can volunteer for trail maintenance projects.
